Temple of Karnak

Karnak is an ancient Egyptian temple precinct that can be visited, usually on a day trip with a guide. Your jaw will drop at the stories that come with this spectacular site on the east bank of the Nile River in Thebes (modern-day Luxor). It spans over 100 hectares, making it bigger than some entire cities of the ancient past.
