The Arena of Nîmes is a Roman amphitheater, situated in the French city of Nîmes. The Amphitheater was built circa 100 CE, only twenty years after the Colosseum of Rome. Although the Colosseum of Rome remains the largest Roman amphitheater. The Arena of Nîmes is best-preserved in the world!
