About

Be among the first to enter the ancient Acropolis and head straight for the mighty Parthenon. No crowds, no selfie sticks – just your small group in the home of Athena. Your guide will share its millennia-spanning story and reveal some of its secrets, like why it has never been replicated.

Once the great ruin begins to echo with the footsteps of tourists, explore sites further downhill, like the Erechtheum, the Temple of Athena Nike, and the Theater of Dionysus, the world’s oldest theater.

On-site usage

  • Show your ticket to the guide at the Meeting Point: at 3 Dionysiou Areopagitou St. in front of the Lukumades and Pilino stores, at the beginning of the pedestrian walkway leading from Hadrian’s Arch (off Syngrou Avenue) to the Acropolis. It’s only 3 min walking distance from the Acropolis Metro Station.
  • Your guide will be holding a orange sign “Athens Walking Tours”. Please be there 15 minutes before your departure
  • Please make sure you have cash as well as a valid ID or Passport for verification of age and nationality to purchase the tickets
